Individuals residing outside of South Carolina or the United States who want to become patients must  come to Dr. Abess' office for an initial evaluation and consultation.  Between office visits, communications can be conducted via secure email, telephone or televideo. 

Arrangements can be made for out of state individuals to stay within close walking distance of Dr. Abess' office at one of many fine hotels or inns in historic Charleston.
